Life in Shasta County

Thank you for checking out my blog.  I'm a photographer and writer originally from Alaska but currently (and temporarily)  living in Shasta County in Northern California.   This area is a challenge in the summer due to the long periods of extreme heat, but in the fall and spring, it is quite beautiful.  Most of my photos from Shasta County are taken in those 2 seasons.
